Does anyone know if we need to be able to identify buffer solutions for the final?

Since buffer solutions are technically calculating for weak acids, I don't think so. That should be a chem 14B topic.

Buffer solutions usually contain a weak acid & the conj base. For example if there is HF and KF, this would be an example of a buffer solution because F- is the conj base for HF and KF has the F-.
