Do we need a reverse arrow in all acid and base chemical equations?

Hey! You use a reverse arrow when the reaction does not involve a strong acid or a strong base! When a strong acid or base is present, you use a single sided arrow because the acid/base dissociates basically completely.

reverse arrow are only denoted if the reaction doesn't dissociate completely

edit: if the acid doesn't dissociate completely. this is used primarily for weak acids and bases
