homework 12.39

Postby alexis castro 1B » Thu Jul 27, 2017 7:26 pm

Using data in Tables 12.1 and 12.2, place the following acids in order of increasing strength: HNO2, HClO2, NH3OH, (CH3)2NH2.

Im confused because (CH3)2NH2 isn't given in the tables so how would I find the Ka for it?

Two criteria that you can use to determine the relative acidity of acidic compounds is by looking at the length of the bonds and the stability of the resulting anion after the H+ atom is removed.
