Are we required to know how to calculate the strength of an acid for the final?

I don't think we do but just know how to calculate the pH of a strong acid and base

no just know that the ph is -log(H+).

I don’t think we have to since it wasn’t really covered in lecture from what i remember, but i would remember the how to calculate pH and pOh which is -log[H] and -log[OH].
