Converting from kA to kB

Postby OishiBhattacharya2K » Sat Nov 27, 2021 1:01 am

How to you convert from kA to kB or vice versa, and will we need to do this on the exam?

I'm not sure if this will be on the exam, but Ka x Kb = Kw, so you would plug in the associated values and solve for whichever variable you need. Kw is 1.0 x 10^-14.

To convert one to the other, you just need to divide by the kW value (1.0 * 10^-14). I don't think we need to know it for the exam, though.

If you know the ka value, you divide 1.0 * 10^-14(Kw) by ka to find kb and vice versa. But like what others said, I'm pretty sure we wouldn't need to know the equation for the final.
