Textbook question 6A.23

Postby 906168748 » Wed Jan 31, 2024 3:21 pm

The question wants you to calculate the molar concentration of Ba(OH)2, Ba2+, OH-, and H3O+ given that the solution has 0.43 g of Ba(OH)2 in 0.1 L of solution. In the answer key it starts out by dividing .43 by 171.36. Where is that number coming from?

That should be the molar mass of Ba'OH2
