What is the process of finding the pH from the PKa?

The first step to calculating pH from pKa is converting the pKa to Ka using the formula pKa= -logKa. Then, using the formula for Ka, solve for the concentration of H3O+. Finally, use the formula pH= -log[H3O+] to solve for the pH.

Just get rid of the -log to solve for Ka and then solve for [H3O+] and take the negative log of that answer. So pKa to Ka to [H3O+] and finally pH.
