can someone break down this problem- what is the main takeaway? are they trying to say more bonds is connected to acidity/basicity strength

Okay, so you are given the pa value of each other the compounds. But, these are bases so you need to change it to pKb by doing this: 14 - pKa, since pKa/pKb follows same mathematical relationship as pH/pOH.

So once you subtract everything, the values turn out to be.
Ammonia (4.74)
Methylamine (3.44)
Ethlyamine (3.19)
Aniline (9.37)

Now compare values; think of it like pOH, where the lower value of pOH/pKb means greater strength, just last pH.

Therefore, Aniline < Ammonia < Methlyamine < Ethlyamine
