Exam HCl and NaOH question?

Postby Joshua Hughes 1L » Sun Dec 10, 2017 2:50 pm

Can someone explain to me the HCl and NaOH pH question please. Isn't this some kind of salt thing which I thought wouldn't be on the test. How does one find pH for that problem because I wasn't sure/ I wanna know if what I did was right
Also... If we aren't supposed to ask questions about the final after the final then please ignore my question

I had trouble with this question as well since we did not cover questions with 2 strong acid and base mixed together and their PH. It also wasn’t in our homeworks. Or at least I can’t remember it being discussed in the lectures.

Hey,guys, that equation I saw on the fundamentals J. HCl+NaOH--->H2O+NaCl. HCl I remember contains 3.64 g and NaOH has 2 g. Is that we have to find pH=-log(H2O)?
