Does anyone know if for questions like 12.49 on the final,
12.49 Which is the stronger base, the hypobromite ion, BrO , or morphine, C17H19O3N? Justify your answer
will we be given the pKb values?

I was confused on the same question. I do not know how to solve this without the pKB terms or the Kb terms.

The chapter contains a table within the text that lists pKb and pKa values of those acids/bases. Please look them up within the book to do the problem.

Yes, we will be given the values.
