pOH from pH

If you are given the pH of a solution, do you simply subtract the pH from 14 to find the pOH concentration value?

Yes. The pH + pOH = 14. The two expressions are opposites expressions. As the pH increases the pOH decreases and vice versa. Both values equal 14.

Yup! When given pH and want to find pOH, you simply subtract the pH by 14, due to the fact that pH and pOH together equal 14.
