Can someone explain to me how KA works and how this helps us find the pH?

Ka is the equilibrium constant for deprotonation of acids. The higher Ka is, the stronger the acid and thus the more protons lost and lower the pH. Ka for strong acids is huge, so about 100% dissociation occurs. Ka is more of a 14B topic so you will not need to use it in pH calculations
