At what pH value is something considered neutral?

Hello!

A pH or pOH of 7 is considered neutral. Just remember that pH + pOH = 14, so when pH and pOH are equal (at 7), the solution is considered neutral.

I hope that helps!

A neutral solution has pH 7. The pH scale is 0-14, with values less than 7 being acidic and more than 7 being basic.

A neutral solution would have pH=7, like water. A good way to remember this is that in a neutral solution, [H3O+]=[OH-]. Since [H3O+]*[OH-] = 10^-14, both concentrations must be 10^-7 to be equal. From there, we can calculate pH = -log[H3O+] = -log10^-7 = 7. This is neutral.

A solution is considered neutral if it has a pH of 7. Hope this helps!

Hi!

At pH=7, this is because pOh+ Ph = 14 and so therefore if the values are 7, that means that there is equal concentration of [H+] and [OH-]

I hope this helps!

A pH of 7 is considered neutral. Anything greater than 7 would be acidic and anything less than 7 would be basic.
