Midterm

What is the best way to prepare for a midterm? On the last midterm I did all the textbook problems that I was told to do to study and understood them all and how to do them but then there wasn't math on the test?

Make sure to do the problems closed book.
Several problems involved calculations.

Since questions come directly from the assigned textbook problems listed in the syllabus, going through them will be the best preparation.
