How can you tell which acids and bases are polyproptic? Are there any common examples?

Polyprotic acids can donate more than one proton. Examples include H2CO3.

Are the hydrogen protons the polyprotic acids that are donated?

H2SO4 would be polyprotic because it can donate more than one proton.
