Titration Graphs

Postby Shreya Patel- 2D » Sat Dec 12, 2020 6:58 pm

Hi! Will we be needing to know how to read titration graphs on the final?

Thanks!

I'd just know the basics of it! Just know the stoichiometric point and understand its meaning as well as the overall shape. You never know what he could put on the final.

I would review them! I think knowing the different slopes it could have depending on what kind of acids and bases you mix could be important.

I'd try to remember the basics of reading it-- where the equilibrium point is, is it going from basic-acidic or vice versa, how much volume of solution, etc.

Understanding the equilibrium point and the shape of the graph should be sufficient.

I would focus on the stiochemistry point on the graph and why it matters. This point will tell you what type of acids and base you have and the ph of the overall solution.

We need to know the stoichiometric point.
