Final: Strong/ Weak Acids/Bases
For the final, do we need to memorize any of the strong acids/bases and weak acids/bases given on the list int he course reader? If so, which ones?

it is safe to know the strong/weak acids and bases that are in the course reader. That is what my TA told me. Also, the salts.

Salts are not on the final test, but you should look over them in the course reader!

Review sessions have said that we only need to deal with Strong Acids and Strong Bases for Chem 14A

Most likely, we will only need to know strong acids and bases. But just to be safe, you could also memorize salts but it is not completely necessary.

The seven strong acids are: HCl, HBr, HI, HNO3, H2SO4, HClO4, and HClO3.

Re: Final: Strong/ Weak Acids/Bases
I believe it would be best to memorize the strong acids and strong bases for the final.
