When I identify a molecule as a salt what should I remember to do differently when solving for pH?

Well the biggest help for me is writing the full dissociation equations like Prof. Lavelle does. He goes salt + water -> ions + water -> H+ + Conj Base (or the opposite) [if applicable]. I find this a huge help specially when analyzing when salts are basic, acidic, or neutral. And with the second and third equation you treat it like a regular acid or base problem. Remember to have your coefficients!
