Why and how does temperature affect pH?

Technically temperature should have no real effect on pH, however, since water undergoes deconstruction of some sort from H2O -> OH- + H,
and there are 2x H. Since pH quantifies the quantity of H+ in a solution, the pH would be slighlty lower/more acidic in higher temperatures.

pH is just a measure of [H30+], so pH shows the concentration of H3O+. When temperature changes, the auto-ionization constant of water changes slightly too due to the different conditions. So, pH does slightly change with change in termpature. However, the change is slight that you can ignore it for most room temperature conditions.

ph decreases as temperature increases. The molecular vibrations increase which results in the ability of water to ionise and form more hydrogen ions.
