Wednesday Lecture 12/4
Do we have to know the section on the slide where he divided ([h3O+][HCo3-])/([H2Co2]) to find Ka1 and he repeated it two more times to find Ka2 and Ka3? Then he ranked them Ka1>Ka2>Ka3. I just want to know if we have to know how to do this for the test?

You do not need to know this for the test if I am right. I think that was all an introduction for Chem 14b.

I think that was more chem 14b if I am not mistaken, and we don't really need to know that

We do not have to know that. It was just background information and stuff we will learn in 14B.

Wednesday's lecture placed emphasis on Chem 14B and introduced us to the topics we will learn in that class. I don't believe we have to know anything in particular from that lecture for the final
