Inverse log

Postby 205797525 » Thu Jan 26, 2023 8:22 pm

When given the pH and calculating for the concentrations, we would use the inverse log right? Which would be 10^-(pH or pOH)?

Yes, when given the pH to calculate for the [H3O+] value you would use the inverse log. If you do 10^-pH value you will get the [H3O+]. Similarly if you are calculating for the [OH-] you could do 10^-pOH value to get the answer.

Yes. You can get the concentration by using inverse log of -(value of pH or pOH).
