homework question 13.5

Postby Angelica Nava-1E » Sat Dec 03, 2016 11:29 pm

Why does NaCN (aq) effect the reaction with HCN (aq) for part A but for part B the NaCl (aq) have no effect on the NH2NH2 (aq)? And why is it 0.060+x on the ice table under CN- which tells me the initial of CN- is ).060 M when the 0.060M belongs to the NaCN not CN-?

NaCl has no effect because the Na and Cl are salts of a strong acid and strong base
