Final Exam
Just to be clear we only need to conceptually understand Ka and Kp values and equilibrium constants but we do not actually have to solve for this or use these factors for anything except determining which acid or base is stronger?

I believe equilibrium is for chem 14b so calculating equilibrium shouldn't be on the final!

Yes that's right, we only need to conceptually understand Ka and Kp. In 14B we'll solve.

calculating equilibrium shouldn't be on the final. However, you should know the conceptually know and understand it.

To add to the previous questions, can someone also explain the conceptual meaning of pKA and pKB?

There shouldn't be any calculations on it but I think it's a good idea to know what it is
