Postby PriscillaMariscal_3F » Sat Dec 03, 2016 9:42 pm

How are buffers & titrations related to one another?

They are not.

Two very different experiments.

However when the sample is a weak acid or base it will 'act' as a buffer because that is what weak acids and bases do when you add base or acid to them.

I answered a similar more detailed question on this in the last ~24 hours. Use search to find it.

When calculating the Buffer do you guys have any advice on how to remember steps. I found it very difficult when doing titration problems. I couldn't get it to stick in my head.
Thank you.
