Is this a 14B topic?
I would like to learn how to calculate titrations for weak acid / base reactions. Is this something that will be covered in 14B? I have only taken 14 A so far.

I believe so since we'll be going more in-depth on acids and bases overall in 14b.

I believe Professor Lavelle said that we will do titrations in 14BL, but we will likely go over them in 14B as well.

Yes, 14B goes more in depth about weak acids and bases. I recall using variables to calculate weak acid/base concentration when taking AP Chemistry in high school.

In Dr.Lavelle's lectures, I remember him mentioning that we'll be going further into acids and bases in Chem 14B.

Titrations are covered and done in detail in Chem 14BL.
In Chem 14B I cover how to set up the equilibrium and calculate the pH for weak acids and base, identify the salt, etc.
Obviously some overlap with Chem 14BL but it will help students when they take Chem 14B.

I think Professor Lavelle mentioned that our very first lecture in 14B will be about calculating equilibria for weak acids and titration.

Quick question, does anyone one know the the intensity of 14B compared to this class? Will it increase in difficulty or be a little bit more easier ? Thank you!
