Salts in titration

Postby Andrew_Ramirez » Mon Dec 06, 2021 6:46 pm

When we are performing titration and our products are salt and a neutral pH solution if there were to be a basic or acidic salt formed would the salts alter the pH of the solution?

I think it would depend on the salt that is formed. for example, if the salt is from a strong acid or base, it will not affect the pH. however, if the salt is from a weak acid or base, it can affect the pH.
