wk3 hw 7

Calculate the standard enthalpy change for the reaction at 25`C. Standard enthalpy of formation values can be found in this list of thermodynamic properties.
2CH3OH(g) + 3O2(g) --> 2CO2(g) + 4H2O(g)
When using the enthalpy formula, does the notation matter when writing everything out? for example the kj/mol after every value when solving? or can I just assume that it's always going to end in kj?

In this case, you can assume that the final result will be kJ/mol. However, I still find it helpful to write down the units as they appear in the question/chart so that I can keep track of all of the units involved in a question that might involve various other units.

Your final answer should be in kJ
