Names of phase changes
I know the names of the endothermic phase changes (vaporization fusion and sublimation), but what are the names of their exothermic counterparts?

Re: Names of phase changes
The opposite of vaporization is condensation, the opposite of fusion (or melting) is freezing, and I don't think that we explicitly went over it, but I found on the internet that the opposite of sublimation is deposition. Hope this helps!

Don't forget that when you are solving for enthalpy change for exothermic phase changes, you just use negative delta H for their endothermic counterparts.

Re: Names of phase changes
Fusion (from solid to liquid) vs. Freeze (from liquid to solid)
Vaporization (from liquid to gas) vs. Condensation (from gas to liquid)
Sublimation (from solid to gas) vs. Deposition (from gas to solid)
