Energy from constant pressure versus constant volume RXN

Postby mendozayael_2H » Sun Mar 18, 2018 1:13 am

Does more energy come from a reaction at constant pressure or at constant volume? Does it have to do with work?

I'm not sure what you mean by energy coming from a reaction, but to my understanding when the volume is changing energy would be used in the expansion. So, less energy would be coming out from that.

Are you asking like if the changes in in pressure and volume or the same in their respective situations.
