Is entropy in J while enthalpy is in kJ?

The entropy values are given in Joules in the appendix, so remember to divide entropy by 1000 to keep everything in kJ. Also for the sake of simplicity when using the equations such as delta G= delta H - TdeltaS

J and kJ are both measurements of energy. The only difference between the two is magnitude. Given how values of enthalpy are often much larger than values of entropy, it's usually easier to write enthalpy in kJ instead of numberx103 J.
