Enthalpy Units

Since enthalpy is the amount of heat released or absorbed at a constant pressure, what are the units of measurement for this value? Is delta H always measured in Joules or are there other units as well?

Usually, enthalpy is given in Joules, but other units can be calories, kJ, kilocalories...

It is the variations of energy units. The SI unit is Joules. However, calories/kilocalories are also common and you can convert between Joules and calories.

The delta H of an equation is actually measured in energy per unit substance—usually kJ/mol or J/mol.
