Write a balanced overall reaction from these unbalanced half-reactions.

In⟶In3+

Cd2+⟶Cd

I am having trouble starting this problem with no previous detail and someone to guide me step by step. Any explanation and help is appreciated !

For In to go to In3+ it must have lost 3 electrons: $In\rightarrow In^{3+}+3e^{-}$
For Cd2+ to go to Cd it must have gained 2 electrons: $Cd^{2+}+2^{e-}\rightarrow Cd$

To balance the reaction the electrons must cancel, so multiply the bottom reaction by 3 and the top by two and add the reactions together for the balanced overall reaction.
