Re: Units of energy
Joules, kilojoules, and calories are all different unites for measuring energy. One calorie is equivalent to 4.184 joules, and one kilojoule is just 1000 joules.
Hope this helps!

Re: Units of energy
Hello! 1kJ is equal to 1000 J since it has the "kilo-" in front of it. In relation to calories, 4.184 J is equal to 1 calorie. Hope this helps!

Re: Units of energy
Hi! I agree with all of the above statements of conversion, additionally, joules is the SI unit, so we should use J in calculations and other equations for the most part.

Re: Units of energy
All three of these units measure energy and you can easily convert between all three of them. 1 kilojoule equals 1000 joules and 1 calorie is equal to 4.184 joules.
Re: Units of energy
Adding onto this, which units are standard for which measurements? I know R changes depending on pressure units as well.
Re: Units of energy
All of those are units of energy, one kilojoule is equal to 1000 joules, while one calorie is equal to 4.184 joules I believe.
