problem 4A.3 (c)

Postby Sophia B 3G » Fri Jan 21, 2022 1:53 pm

Hi. I am confused on how to find the change in internal energy? If someone could explain I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

U = q + w. In the absence of heat, which we can assume because the problem does not indicate heat being added or lost, U = w. You can calculate w using the formula w = -PV
