Hi,
In an isolated system, are both pressure and volumes constant, since there are no outside factors contributing to it and the energy in it is constant?

Re: Isolated system
Since an isolated system doesn't exchange what is inside to what is outside, pressure and volume will remain constant since neither volume or pressure would be added or removed.

Yes, in an isolated system, neither energy nor matter can be exchanged. This means that the volume and pressure must be held constant.
