Typo in question 8.55?

Postby HannahNizinski_1G » Sat Jan 23, 2016 11:03 am

Is there a typo in question 8.55 because I cannot seem to get to the desired thermochemical equation. Should there be a 3/2 coefficient in front of the O2 in the second equation given?

Yes because there is an Al2O3 as the product so adding a 3/2 to the O2 would balance the equation.

Don't worry about it--Lavelle said to skip #55 :)
