Calculating Work

Postby Patrick Wilson 2B » Fri Mar 17, 2017 11:29 pm

How do you calculate the work done if the system is isothermal and reversible? I'm trying to review one of the questions from quiz one and I'm a little lost.

If you're referring to question 2b from Quiz 1, you can use the formula W = -nRTln(v2/v1) and plug in the given values, as indicated by the information on Course Reader p. 31.
