State Functions
Can someone remind me which properties are state functions? I know enthalpy, Gibb's free energy, and entropy are definitely state functions, and work and heat are not state functions. Which other ones am I missing?
Re: State Functions
Pressure, volume, temperature, density and internal energy are all state functions.

Re: State Functions
It'll probably be easier to understand the concept of state functions rather than memorize a list. Since a state function is something that doesn't depend on the path taken to get from the initial to final state, you can see why temperature and volume etc can be considered state functions.

Re: State Functions
State functions are those that depend only on its initial and final states. They don't depend on the path taken to get to the final state.
