Enthalpy of Diatomic Molecules

Postby Mahir_Hasan2C » Sun Jan 27, 2019 4:08 pm

Is the reason for diatomic molecules enthalpy being 0 because that is the average for all the diatomic molecules or is it a different reason?

According to Lavelle, through experimentation, diatomic gases have exhibited an enthalpy of 0. So when calculating enthalpy, assume diatomic gases' enthalpies are 0.
