Units for specific heat capacity: kJ/gC or J/gC
For answers regarding specific heat, the course reader lists the units as kJ/gC, however is it acceptable to leave our answers as J/gC as the quiz had?

They are basically the same units with different magnitude, so I would assume that either is fine, as long as you have the correct number of significant figures.

I would think answers in Joules or in KJ would be accepted since they are basically the same answer either divided by 1000 or multiplied by 1000. For example, 5kJ = 5000J, so whether you choose to express that in kJ or J either way should be correct.
