Use standard enthalpies of formation from Appendix 2A to calculate the standard reaction enthalpy for:
(c) the formation of a sulfide by the action of hydrogen sulfide on an aqueous solution of a base:

I calculated this by taking sums of standard enthalpies of formation of the products and subtracted the sum of the standard enthalpies of formation of the reactants. I got -38.72 kJ. However, the answer key says the answer should be 15.28 kJ. I used the same steps to get the answers for part a and b and got the answer right. Does the answer key have an error in it?

I also got -38.72 kJ/mol so I think it may be an error in the answer key, though I'm not completely sure because it's not on the list of solutions manual errors.
