Enthalpies of Formation
Will the enthalpies of formation always be given to us if we need it on the test?

Re: Enthalpies of Formation
I think the enthalpies will always be given to us if we need them on the test or I suppose Dr. Lavelle would give us a variety of tables for us to locate these values. In the past he has given us a constant sheet with other constants so I hope that he would do the same. Otherwise, they would have to be given int he problem in order to solve it.

Re: Enthalpies of Formation
We probably wouldn't have to memorize any values, except to note that the standard enthalpy of formation of an element already in its most stable form is 0.

You just need to know that the standard enthalpies of an element in its purest form is zero.
