thermochemistry equations
I'm kind of stressing out because I feel like I'm not going to be able to remember all these different equations and when to use them. Like the different equations for work and internal energy. How do you memorize all of them???

Re: thermochemistry equations
Make sure to familiarize yourself with the Constants and Equations sheet on Dr. Lavelle's website, therefore, you know what you should and shouldn't memorize!

Re: thermochemistry equations
Some of the equations will be on the formula sheet and you can sometimes use those to derive other equations you need to if you can’t remember. Plus practicing problems will help you learn the equations you use most often!

Re: thermochemistry equations
I would start from understanding the underlying concepts behind heat, work, enthalpy and how one concept relates to another and that will help you form those equations and prevent you from stressing about it!

Re: thermochemistry equations
I think looking at the constant equations sheet and knowing how to manipulate the formulas based on what we're given should be able to be enough. You can also write them out on your own on a separate piece of paper.
Re: thermochemistry equations
Most of them are on the constants sheet and are given during the test.
