Pizza Rolls 4

Postby Amy Xiao 1I » Tue Feb 11, 2020 4:51 pm

Can someone walk me through how to solve 4A of Pizza Rolls? I am confused about how to use Hess's Law.

the easiest way to solve problems like these is to find chemicals that you want in your final equation that only appear once in the other equations. In 4a ginger ale only appears in the first equation so you know you must multiple that equation x2 to get the 2gingerale you see in the final equation. Do this for each chemical and then ensure that the other chemicals like honey cancel out. whatever you multiple the equations by you must then multiple their delta H by before adding.
