Focus 4 Exercise 17e

Postby Vivian Leung 1C » Wed Feb 10, 2021 9:58 pm

Hi,

I was just a little confused on how they rounded the deltaH for part e of this problem (see attachment). How is -2966.7 KJ= -3.0 KJ even if they said "-3.0" is due rounding to significant figures?

This is a typo. Decimal point is incorrectly placed. If you do the calculations given, it is 2.9667 kJ.

I updated the file on my class website: Solution Manual Errors 7th Edition
