I am not sure if you can directly convert between the two, but I know in certain conditions they are equal to each other. For example, when the temperature of the system increases and there is heat transfer in mcdeltaT then q=deltaH. In addition in isothermal systems enthalpy or deltaH is equal to q I believe. I'm assuming you're saying if we can determine q with delta h, since they can't really be "converted," so in that case, for the system with constant pressure like the coffee cup example, there is the equation qp=delta H :)

As everyone else has mentioned, deltaH is a specific q, so there is no real "conversions." DeltaH only exists when there is a constant pressure, so then, q = deltaH.

You cannot do this. However, certain conditions allow for the two values to be equal.

There is no conversion - however, they will be equal to each other if we are measuring heat at constant pressure (because that is the definition of enthalpy).

While ∆H = q at constant pressure, ∆U = q at constant volume. just a small interesting comparison
