What is enthalpy in terms of its more mathematical aspect?

I don't get your question. H = U+PV? Is that you wanted?

Since enthalpy (q_pressure or delta H) is the amount of heat released or absorbed at a constant pressure:
q_pressure or delta H = H_product - H_reactant
