Can someone explain in more detail why NO2 has a higher heat capacity than NO?

NO2 will have a higher heat capacity than NO because it is considered a more complex molecule. Complex molecules have more bond vibration and rotation so more energy will be needed to increase the temperature of NO2 than NO.
