Is delta H in units of kJ or kJ/mol?

Delta H is used to express a change in energy, normally done using either J or kJ.

However, there may be specific problems that ask you of the delta H of one mole of a substance reacting where, in that case, the delta H would be equal to the delta H per mole.

The delta H for fusion and vaporization is kJ/mol.
