Calorimeter calculations

In a bomb calorimeter, is the work constant because the volume is fixed?

Yes, in a bomb calorimeter holds volume constant and thus work is equal to 0 in this system. Therefore, the deltaU = q!

Bomb calorimeters are a closed system (energy can be put into the surroundings). Bomb calorimeters are constant for volume and when there are no volume changes, then no work is done.
